Khovd River, Mongolia

In 2016 we let ourselves be organised. We paddled the Khovd River in Westerm Mongolia with Mongolia canoeing, a company based in Ulan Batar with a German owner.

An amazing experience. We first flew to Ulgi in Western Mongolia and then in an old Russian camper bus were taken up into the mountains. The start of the trip is at 2000 meters, the highest altitude we have ever started a canoe trip.
